About Me: Originally from NYC, our family moved to this lush area in Pennsylvania years ago. My husband and I wanted to bring our young children to the country. We bought a home in the beautiful Loyalsock Valley, surrounded by the foothills of the Allegheny Mountains and infused with the magic of the Susquehanna River - thus the name: Blue River. A farm meadow surrounded by mountains is the view from right in front of our home. This place is inspiring. It was the perfect move for someone who has always felt a strong connection to nature and all of its magnificent creation. And of course, our dogs have come to add wonder & delight in this simple life that we have chosen for ourselves and our family. But how did I get on this path? I have always had a passion for children and animals. Although I have an M.S. in education, it was my choice to remain at home during our four children's early childhood years. It was during this time that I developed an interest in establishing a high-quality breeding program in our family home. Learning about breeding, proper management, and all that is involved in a successful program is challenging and rewarding. I have a special love for dogs. But it is my desire to use what I learn to bring joy into the homes of others - that is my driving force. I have been involved in the rescue, training, showing, and breeding of animals almost all of my life. What can I say? Breeding is one of the true loves of my life. It is one of the ways in which I creatively express myself and bring love into the world.
